Accessibility is incredibly important to us here at OCSI. Our aim is to create a more inclusive digital environment where everyone has equal opportunities. The accessibility function on the Dashboard ensures that users who cannot distinguish between colours can still understand the data being shown, meeting a key accessibility regulation.

Using the accessibility feature

  1. Build a dashboard.

  2. Click the Accessibility Button.

  3. Toggle 'Show icons on cells'.

  4. Click 'Close'.

a GIF showing how to enable accessibility features as explained on this page.

Icons will now appear next to the colour bands, representing relative values within your selected areas. Each data cell will now display icon cues (●, ◐, β—‹) to help you understand the dashboard view.

Tip

To disable this feature, simply click the toggle again as described above.
